edo studied at Indonesian Institute of Art from 1990-1997 in the Fine Arts department.
edo’s work includes painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, and installations.
The past three years, he focused on painting. Currently, he developing a small
gallery in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. The gallery is a one meter cube that will feature “fast” art.
By miniaturizing the space, he invite artists to produce a complete exhibition within a few days.
he also developed a new method of painting inspired by batik and traditional
Cirebon glass painting techniques. Using acrylic paint, the design is first applied to plastic,
and after treatment is transferred to canvas. This method produces a cracked and textured appearance
reminscent of a topographical map
